The Continuing Education Committee is responsible for developing regularly scheduled educational seminars and presenting them to probate judges and staff. The seminars provide required continuing education credit hours to the judges and staff. The committee also offers periodic Judges Institutes that examine a variety of topics regarding substantive probate law and administrative functions of the courts. New legislation and changes to Rules of Procedure are also presented and discussed at the Judges Institutes.

The Continuing Education Committee regularly meets at the Office of the Probate Court Administrator, located at 186 Newington Rd., West Hartford, CT 06110, generally on the third Wednesday of every other month, typically from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  For more details on specific meetings and cancellations, please see the agendas posted below.
