As a judicial system, the Connecticut Probate Courts through the Connecticut Probate Assembly, the Office of the Probate Court Administrator, and the Probate Court Budget Committee regularly hold administrative meetings that are open to the public to attend.

The Connecticut Probate Assembly is the statewide association of all 54 probate judges and is charged with improving the administration of justice in the Probate Courts and promoting uniformity in practice and procedure.
Established by statute, the three-member Probate Court Budget Committee is charged with establishing compensation and benefits plans, staffing levels, and office budgets for the Probate Courts.
The Advisory Committee for the Probate Court Rules of Procedure is a volunteer body charged with assisting the Probate Court Administrator in developing the rules of procedure for the Probate Courts.
