Internet users who visit the website of the Probate Courts, ctprobate.gov, will find a new online calculator tool designed to help estimate the Probate Court fees associated with the estate of someone who dies. At any point during the estate process, the internet user can enter the appropriate figures into the calculator to get a fee estimate based on the most recent statutory fees established by the General Assembly.

The fee calculator, found under “Fees and Expenses” in the left margin at ctprobate.gov, can also be used to estimate fees to file financial accounts and various types of petitions, including conservatorships, guardianships and name changes, as well as fees for copies and document recording.
